The quality isn’t affected, but the problem is the quantity — it's like 40% or 50% less than last year, at between 80-90 KMT. The quality is very good, and the size is the same as usual, between 120-180 beans per 100g.

Egypt’s faba bean production has settled at a standard level as expansion in newly developed growing areas slows, while exports are running around 30% below last year amid weaker demand and cautious buying.
