The Global Pulse Confederation is looking for proposals for our Cobra Cave Pitch session that will take place at our Pulses 24 convention in New Delhi, India on February 14-17, 2024.

What kind of proposal will be accepted? 

• Main Focus: Pulses
• Projects that need a minimum investment of $25,000 

Proposals must be focused on solving one of the main issues currently facing the pulses industry:

• Making use of byproducts in protein extraction/fractionation (starch)
• Reducing reliance on glyphosate
• Storage in regions with high presence of smallholder farmers  
• Reducing losses at harvest
• Increasing small producers' yields
  
  

How does it work?

1. Submission - Apply with your project via this form by January 10.

2. Screening - We will carefully review each idea to arrive at a shortlist of proposals. The final selection will be invited to pitch their ideas at the Cobra Cave Pitch session at Pulses 24.

3. Pulses 24 - Finalists will present their 5-minute pitch to investors, and will be asked questions afterwards.

4. Meet - If investors are interested, they will propose a meeting or investment to finalists.
