As you might know, tomorrow is the registration deadline for the Americas Pulses Congress and I am looking forward to seeing you there.

I’ve been to a lot of GPC conferences - both during my presidency and before - and, as I look ahead to Cancun 22, I wanted to share some of the reasons why I always make it a priority to attend them.   

If you’re on the fence about coming I’d like it if this, in some way, helps you to make your decision about joining us at the event.

#1 The investment is really worth it

The potential connections and business opportunities a GPC conference offers are worth their weight in gold. Let me give you an example:

Cristóbal López, from Los Arbolitos in Sinaloa, Mexico, joined us for the first time in Rio, in 2019. A few hours after the event had started, he had already made enough sales to cover his expenses.

Besides, it’s free for GPC members, who also have access to our exclusive content, reports and both online and offline events for the entirety of their annual membership.

#2 You can make relevant connections within the pulse industry

Over the years, there are so many people that you interact with at these events - they may be clients or they may not be - but it’s our network and connections that are the pulses industry’s greatest strength. 

Attending GPC events is also a great opportunity to meet up with old friends and… make new ones!

#3 You get the opportunity to travel and get to know different countries, cultures… and, in this case, a true paradise

For the past 15 years, I’ve had the chance to attend GPC conferences in countries like Dubai, China, Brazil, Turkey, Canada, the US, Sri Lanka and many, many more.

This year, the Americas Pulses Congress takes place in the Hilton Cancun All-inclusive Resort, in beautiful Mexico. The location is a secluded paradise with beachfront rooms, infinity pools and 12 dining experiences. Personally, I can’t wait!

#4 If I weren’t GPC president… why would I attend Cancun 22?

It’s really well-timed after the crop and the information shared will be extremely insightful. You attend not only to hear what’s on the agenda and learn new things about crop quantities and quality but also to connect with people you don’t see on an everyday basis. 

It will be amazing to see all the American, Canadian and Mexican industry members and at the same time bring in players from Central and South America. I think it’s a great time to come together!
